APPRENTICESHIP

Technician for event technology (m|f|d)

(starting 01.02.2024 | only in Hamburg)

Du You'll be on the front line, live, and we'll give you in-depth training in all relevant areas of event technology. This includes not only the operation and set-up of all trades (lighting, sound, video, projection, live streaming, post-production, etc.), but also the basic skills of electrical engineering, the maintenance of various stage equipment as well as warehousing and logistics. Another area is project planning, costing and customer service. The training objective is the ability to take over an event completely as a project manager, to supervise it independently and to carry it out. During the training period, you have the opportunity to specialise in one area if you wish.

What you should know

  • Your principal place of work and employment is in Hamburg

What you should bring with you

  • You are of adult age or will be soon

  • You have a secondary school leaving certificate, A-levels, technical college entrance qualification with corresponding grades in the "key subjects" mathematics and physics or have attended a secondary school with a technical orientation.

  • German spoken and written

  • English (basic knowledge) would be good

  • The apprenticeship takes 36 months

  • The length of training can be cut by half a year on application if good performance is achieved
